About the project
This site is a private, non-commercial preservation project. Its purpose is to preserve Matematik i Måneby and the history of the game for posterity: to document what the game was, who made it and how it was used in Danish schools, and to make it possible to experience the game again.
Since the Danish Wikipedia article about the game was deleted in 2024, there has been no complete, publicly available account of the game's history. This site tries to be exactly that, with sources for every significant piece of information.
Permission and rights
The game is available here with permission from one of the founders of Bitfrost Interactive, for the time being.
The permission can be withdrawn at any time. If the rights holders ask, the game will be taken down from the site immediately and without discussion. This site claims no rights whatsoever to the game, its graphics, its sound or its name; Matematik i Måneby belongs to the rights holders.
If you are a rights holder and have questions, objections or requests for changes, please do get in touch. Takedown requests are dealt with immediately.

Mistakes on the site, historical corrections and additional material (manuals, boxes, press clippings, memories from school) are just as welcome. The site is written from the sources that could be found, and something is certainly missing.
Who runs the site
The site is built and maintained by Rasmus Kjær Damgaard. The work is unpaid and a private spare-time project: neither the site nor the game sells anything, and there are no ads, no payments and no collection of personal data.
